So.... I really don't know what to say to all of you but wanted to let everyone know we made it to Kenya safley. The only problem was we encountered ATON of delays whether it was flight delays, tickets not registering, or even just airplane food.
Today we got here EXTREMlEY jet lagged, but I was still super excited to see Kenya for the first time. The Heart Lodge where we are staying is SUPER nice and is pretty much a ginormous room with furniture and everything. We later went to the market/mall thingy where we grabbed a bite to eate and just looked around for a little bit. After that we made our way to the halfway house (orfanage for babies) and we got to hold, feed, and just have fun with some of God's people. It was amazing seeing how small their hands were and how happy they were to get thrown in the air (by Trenton cough cough). Although I'm still jetlagged I'm slowly adapting to the huge time difference.
Although we've only been with eachother for a couple days, I can already tell that our group has an insane amount of personality. Everyone is really friendly and gets along juuuusttt SWELLLLL. It was really fun visiting London and seeing Big Ben, which was even funnier when we found out Brendon thought it was a whale. haha Just 1 example of the unique personality that just 1 person brings to the group. Also in London it was great hearing everyone's excellent british accents, although the security gaurds at Heathrow didn't think so. I can already tell this trip is going to be amazing and that this group will make a difference.
